(All Students) The NYSMHO website  https://nysmho.weebly.com/ now has open submissions! Click the submissions tab on our website to submit a piece of your own. We are looking for writing centered around personal experiences with mental health or informational writing about dealing with poor mental health.  Also read up on the latest posts by our blog-writing team. There are posts centered around dealing with stress, sleep deprivation, and mental health in school.  ____________________________________________________________________ (All Students) Hi All! The South Asian Student Association invites you all on February 27th (tomorrow) to meet congressional candidate representative District 12, Suraj Patel. It will be happening at The Factory from 4-5. Thank you! ____________________________________________________________________ (All students) PSAL Outdoor Track Tryouts!!!   Girls and Boys Varsity SPRINTS tryouts will resume on Thursday, February 27.  Wednesday's (2/26) tryouts are cancelled due to rainy weather.   Meeting place is at McCarren Park Track, 4PM   In order to tryout all athletes must have: 1) Signed Parental Consent form 2) Physical Form filled out and STAMPED by your doctor   Any questions regarding Boys and Girls Varsity Outdoor Track  please see Coach Leizman, BHSECQ Athletic Director or Coach Winston. Best, Winston ____________________________________________________________________ (All students) Please join us for the first event in the "City Conversations" speaker series, TODAY (Feb. 26), featuring George Stonefish, Period 8, in the Black Box. George Stonefish is a singer, dancer, artist, speaker, and activist on behalf of Native American issues. A New York City native and member of the Delaware (Lenape) and Chippewa nations, he sits on the board of directors of the American Indian Community House. In 2018, he organized the first Lenape Pow Wow in Manhattan since the island’s original inhabitants were driven out more than 300 years ago.  (All students) This is a friendly reminder from the library: Laptops  - All laptops borrowed from the library are one day loans only.  Please return them on the same day. - There are a number of laptops missing from the library.  If you have a laptop in your possession, please return to the library immediately.   Silent Library Please note that the silent library policy is still in place.
